Public speaking for school leaders

Every school leader needs to be able to stand confidently
and address the teachers, students, peers and other audiences in English for various purposes at some time or
another. Public speaking requires confidence, a good train
of thought and practiced speech. Issues such as posture,
gestures, facial expression, intonation, rhythm and pronunciation amongst others, need to be given considerable attention in order to present well in public speaking. How the speaker puts a message across willdepend on a well thought and structured text. Equipped with a good rehearsed text and a conscious awareness of body language, a school leader can confidently speak in public anytime, anywhere.
