Abstract
The English Language Education Empowerment Plan (3PBI) implemented by the Ministry of Education (MoE) is designed to emphasise the importance of English in supporting humane education for the development of a MADAN/ generation. It is an initiative of MBMMBI policy to welcome the aspirations of MADAN/ Education which is in line with one of 7 goals of Education Reform MADAN/ - an important aspect to ensure our students can communicate well in English at the international level. Therefore, it has become even more crucial for school leaders to play an essential role in the aim of strengthening the English language in schools. School leaders must be in the know of policies, the curriculum, latest teaching and learning trends of the English Language, and development and innovations in the subject matter in order to be the catalysts, movers and shakers who ensure that everybody plays their part in achieving the aim together. Thus, school leaders need to take immediate action to equip themselves, which is a crucial process for them to be role models as well as reference points to the teachers and students. In addition, with the awareness and knowledge about these aspects, school leaders can put into action providing support and making decisions in identifying and executing programmes and activities needed by teachers as well as students in in the efforts of strengthening the English Language in a particular school
